scared out of my mind!

Anyone here attend maryville university and applying for Fall 2013? I am applying for the WEC program and feel as if I am on pins and needles until results are announced sometime in Feb or March!
i know the compeptition is hard as it should be, however I am scared I will not get admitted. I have asked my advisor what he thought and of course i can not get a straight answer if I have a good shot if one at all.
I have met ALL requirements and GPA is 3.4. Ive heard through the grapevine that unless a student has a 3.5 GPA or higher there is not a chance at getting in. Anyone have helpful throughts?
