I do know that my application is in simply because I took it in and dropped it in the office! haha. So that is good news... rumor has it we will hear mid september or early october. One of the administrators told me that. Did you apply to the ELMSN program as well? Thank you again!

I applied for their regular BSN program, but I know my friend who applied to the ABSN program at SF already got their acceptance letter atleast a week ago -- I wonder why the San Mateo campus is slower?

Hello everyone. I applied to the san mateo campus for january 2010...Like all of you i am anxiously waiting...At first i thought i was a shoe in, but after reading all of your posts, im starting to get very nervous. Months ago i had the assistant director of the ABSN program (Che) look at my transcripts, and said i basically had my foot in the door with the grades, entrance exam score, and the fact that im a guy(since guys are a minority in the nursing profession)...My only weakness was a lack of much work/hospital experience. But che told me that it was the nature of that program, that many people lack hospital experience. So i didn't really consider it a deal breaker. But now, after hearing that 177 applied to san mateo?!!!WOW!!....does anyone know if all 177 included those who didn't qualify as well?

Did you get an e-mail from the Director of Admission, regarding your preference for either the Sacramento or San Mateo? I thought it was peculiar that she had sent me a personal message.

If the process is the anything like what they did for the November 2009 SF cohort, they'll call the lucky ones who are accepted and waitlisted before mailing out the 'big' envelopes. For the rest, rejection letters appear in the mail in the 'little' envelopes. Good luck to all!
