by alicat516 Feb 20I am planning on starting my prerequisites in Fall, I have to take A&P I & II, Micro, sociology, Algebra and possibly english comp. I am 31, a stay at home mother of 3 and have been out of school for 13 years. I plan on only taking 1 science class each semester so I can do well and devote my attention to that class as I assume they will be hard. My question is, is there anything I can do now to prepare myself as I won't start classes until fall semester? Any advice or suggestions are GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

- Feb 20 by MyOwnBlueSkyI too am a mom going back to school. Your plan to space out the sciences is a good idea so that you can keep a high GPA. Try and find some used books, you tube and learning websites are your friend. Also use ratemyprofessor.com. This site is awesome and there are so many useful threads of advise. Good luck!alicat516 likes this.
- Feb 20 by zoe92Once you find out who your professor is, see if you can get your hands on a syllabus of theirs. See which chapters/concepts they will focus on so you can read ahead. There are also some books that focus on preparing for science courses, such as Get Ready for A & P by Lori K. Garret.alicat516 likes this.
