Re: Practice Teas Test
Hi, dear. Here is what happened over this weekend. On Friday I typed such a long message with everything I know about the TEAS, but when I press "submit", it didn't go through. I though that something wrong went with my computer. On Saturday, I typed again a long review about the test and same happened the second time, so I just gave up. Maybe the forum doesn't allow to do it or I have no idea what had happened. So now I'll be short.
Study %. For example: you had 60$, spend 80% of it, then what had left invested for 80%. How much do you have? (answere 21.60$) If that was easy, then you are fine. I remember so much, but...
x/y+z=wr, x=?, then x=y(wr-z)
1st year you had 848 clients, 2nd 1078. What was increase in %? (answer=27%)
Make sure you know how to spell:accept, already, foreseeable, course, changeable, commit, average, manageable
The math portion from the study guide was really close to the actual test. Science - not at all.
Good luck!!!!

Hi sacstate, seems like we had the same test. I will have to retake it again. Had an 86.2% on the real thing. I thought the book helped quite a bit for the maths and eng. The science is a different story--it's all over the place. Though, the online practice was close. Got questions for the science part. How did you manage with the translation for the mRNA code, Genetic q was kind of weird, with the punnet sq & answer choices, the book didn't have anything like those types of q for practice. The experiment with 50ml in 3 different materials, how did you answer that? How about the bk on the table? The q on the wheelchair was tricky. Thought it was about friction, will you increase or decrease friction. Will you increase distance/length or increase distance? How about the wave q. Never had a physics class. Do you think energy or force is related? Got more q's. Please send me a pm. Could really use some help! Thanks | | No. 13 |

Re: Practice Teas Test
Hi, Nancy. Wow, we had the same test, you are right. Where have you taken it?
I'll help you out I remember those questions. You asked me to PM you. What is PM, I am new on this forum, so how do I do it? When and where are you applying?

A PM is a Private Message. Private messages work a little like email, but are limited to registered members with 15+posts.
You may send a private message to a member by clicking the ' Send New Message' link in the private messaging section of your user control panel, or by clicking the 'Send a Private Message' icon that appears in a member's posts when you click on their username.

Hi Sacstate, glad you think so too!
I just sent you a PM. I'm also new to the forum as well.
I think I figured how you could get to your PM box to read/send PM's.
When you log in. If you have a message, it should flag to your top left screen (right below your user name). You will see a link. Click on it and it should get you there.
Another way you can get to your PM, is by selecting "myaccount" on the top left tab, close to your user name. If you click on it, you will get a drop box, you can then make your selection from there.
On this thread, there's a message from a staffer, tnbufferly, showing how you may send a PM. I also found that clicking on the 'Send New Message' link will get you to your PM box. I will put the link from staffer tnbutterfly, here for you to try.
You may send a private message to a member by clicking the ' Send New Message' link in the private messaging section of your user control panel, or by clicking the 'Send a Private Message' icon that appears in a member's posts when you click on their username.

Hi Sacstate!
Just noticed your icons for both PM & Email. You can activate either icons by placing your mouse and clicking to select. The icons look like these: " Registered User ." You should find it in any of the threads that has your user name. The one with the pencil, is for PM and the one that looks like envelop is for Email. You asked, "What is PM." PM, in allnurses forum, means "Private Message." I have the same icons on mine posts as well. That's probably the easiest way for you to contact me, you can either PM or EMail me. You can ignore the other post, I sent earlier. The icons on the threads are pretty straightforward and of course much easier | | No. 19 |

Good luck to everyone.
