Potential Wound Care Nurse

Are there any wound care nurses out there? I have a special interest in becoming a wound care nurse. Can you share any tips?

Default Re: Potential Wound Care Nurse
I am not a wound care nurse, but I do know a little bit about it through my husband, who has been in the wound care business for about 7 years (on the pharma side). One thing you could do is find a good burn unit near you. I know that ET Nurses (Enterostomal Nurses--sometimes now called WOC Nurses) do a lot of work in burn units---oh and also Nursing homes. There are really tons of options---all kinds of wounds and incontinence issues.

Check out the WOCN's website: http://www.wocn.org/
