- Jan 30 by Pily20Hi, I am not from the college, but I do not recommend you taking A&P online. There is so much to see in class, that it's better for you to learn in a "hands on" lab enviornment. How will you be able to dissect online?
- Jan 30 by loriangel14I didn't do it but a friend of mine took her A&P online form Mohawk and she said it was just fine. There is no dissecting required. The only thing about online studies is they take a lot of discipline as you are working on your own. Yes you do have to sign onto blackboard for discussions as part of the course. I have taken other online things and that is how it works.Generally A&P in Canada doesn't involve dissection.Last edit by loriangel14 on Jan 30
- Jan 30 by futurernluveniaQuote from stoyanaIt actually depends on what kind of student you are. There are a lot of people who wouldn't recommend it but it is up to you. I took A&P - with lab online and passed lab with an A and lecture with a B. I dissected a sheep brain, cow eye, and a pig. I'm currently taking A&P 2 online with lab and as of right now I am maintaining an A in both classes. I'm also taking Chemistry online as well so like I stated before it depends on what kind of student you are. (Btw I have a o1 year old, work ft as a cna, and taking two other classes besides those two. I will be taking Statistics in March so 17 credits total.I am planning to take the course The Human Anatomy and Physiology online (distance education) through Mohawk college and I am scared because I don't know how it is work. They mentioned some on line discussions and please I am looking for some tips and advises too.Did anyone take that course and how it works?
- Jan 30 by yaneauI took A&P I online and I feel like it was a bad decision. While I passed with an A, I find that it is somewhat easier to slack off on online classes and not fully grasp the material. As a nurse A&P is going to be important.
I do not think online classes are hard, quite frankly I think they're easy-peasy. Just make sure that you're 100% going to be able to retain the material.
