Online Anatomy & Physiology?? (accredited!)

I am wondering if anyone knows of any online Anatomy & Physiology courses that include a lab?? IF SO, what kind of lab? Do you have to do dissections in your home? Did you have to have the tests proctored? I was hoping to find a school in Illinois or Wisconsin, but anywhere is great! Thank you!

whoa out of all the online colleges I looked into NJMC is probably the cheapest for Out Of State tuition! Most charge well over $200-$400 per credit..eek! I am so happy to find this post and took the time to look into their courses! Thanks guys!

SUPER late post, but hopefully I can get some responses.... For those of you who took the courses online how were they? Did you get a good grade and how long were they? I see NMJC is very affordable! MAMA LULU did you take there ? What was your experience was it difficult?

I'm currently taking an online A&P class with Lab online. I am finding it time consuming but seems doable (1st week into the summer semester). The lecture is pretty straight forward with discussions. Homework/Lab are part of the masteringaandp, so these are more work. The lab being the most time consuming. We'll see how I'm doing in a couple of weeks as it will be our 1st exam including Lab. If you have time to do a little everyday you should be able to master the material. There is alot of reading involved, so that's why I say do a little everyday.

If you want to take a&p 1 & 2 or micro online you can also go through Odessa college. They're a community college in Odessa tx and the class transfers anywhere in the us

Thank you! Can you recommend and professor? And how difficult the course might be overall. Are exams proctored? How are labs structured? And any other insight?

(questions that other people viewing this might ask)

Thank you so much! It's tough to find classes that v transfer everywhere. .. how do you know that it does?

Thank you for your response!!! What school are you taking it at? And who is your Prof?

Future_GA_nurse, how is class going? I am thinking of doing A&PII online in few weeks vs the in class course.

hmcnav,

it's going by fine. Right now I'm averaging a 86 with 3 more weeks to go. Let me say that it is time consuming, and I work full time, and I am a mother and wife. In the beginning I was not doing very well, so I began to try different strategies to help me succeed. Sometimes I print out the powerpoints, some times I just review via you tube or browse the book. As far as labs, the professor provides us with what we need to know and we review human cadavers, anatomical models, and histology..all online (PAL 3.0). If I applied myself by not sleeping much and not taking time out for my family, I think I could get a high A. Everything is online. We have timed quizzes, and tests as well as lab practicals and exams.

Suggestions: ready, review, listen to something every day..even if it's for 10 minutes. Review the human cadavers, anatomical models..this is where I lose a lot of points b/c I did not study it enough. Pace yourself and if you can complete something before the due date..do it..I'm a huge procrastinator and I found if I think about it and have time, I do it asap. With other obligations, things can get in the way and you'll be scrambling at the last minute trying to finish your assignments after a long day. Good luck!

What school do you currently attending for the A&P course?

New Mexico Junior College is very professional and they are super super cheap whether in state or out of State. Darton CC is also really good and they have classes that start every Monday. They also offer a great priced tuition. Thanks for this post!

I am thinking about NMJC myself due to the price. ..I haven't heard of Darton Thandie you for sharing. Have you attended either of these programs yourself?

Currently, I am enrolled at NMJC. I start classes on the 22nd. I just applied to Darton today because they start classes on August 8th and again on the 15th. I like that I can start sooner and finish before October. I will let you know which one I ultimately choose. Darton is $147/credit and NMJC you will pay no more than $744 for 12 credits which is AMAZING
