Nursing school advice!!


I am in Illinois current attending College of Dupage(community college).
I will be done with my Nursing pre reqs by End of 09. My first option for nursing school is University of illinois Chicago. Howevere, i have heard that it is very competitive and tough to get into.
Does anyone have anyother ideas of Nursing Schools in Chicago or near suburbs.

Also,
i have been looking in to Rush university, Elmhurst university and Northern Illinois university...
Any comments on these or suggestions?

UIC and Rush are excellent schools --- both ranking in the Top 20 in the country. Chicago-area people are fortunate to have two such strong programs close to them.

I believe Rush no longer offers a BSN, starting this year I think they are only offering MSNs, but you should double check on that info.

How about Loyola, Depaul, or North Park University?
