Nova Southeastern University Entry-Level BSN Program

Hello,
I have a few questions for Nova Southeastern University (Davie, FL campus) current nursing students and alumni.
I was told that there is an interview process; I would like to know what the interview process is like?
What questions are being asked?
How you are being evaluated?
How many people are in the room?
What kind of setting/environment does it take place in?
Also.. Would you say this school is difficult to get accepted in? What kid of students are they looking for (academically)? Any tips &/or suggestions?

XoXo

I am applying as to Nova as well. Sorry but I have no information on the interview process as well, but I was told that around 100 students are admitted in and around 600-700 apply...If you hear anything please let me know.

I'm applying for 2010 January class, I submitted my application and I guess now I am just waiting to hear a response. Are you taking your prerequisites right now at nova?

I've heard lots of good things about nova and some bad (like most schools). Overall I believe they are pretty fair, the interview process started this week and will continue till early November. I have a 3.175 and I completed the application probably like 2 weeks ago. I am very anxious to find out what is going on but from what I read in blogs I have to be patient. af;laksd;fajsdfaksdf!!! But yeah that's my story. How about you? gpa? when u applied? etc.

well same thing, I mean i have a 3.4 GPA i go to MDC and just have 5 more clases to finish my AA in nursing. but, to be honest with you im sooooooooooooooooo nervous about the process aparently out of 700 only 150 get interviewed and only 100 get accepted. I really want to have a place in those 100 i applied to Nova, MDC and they have rejected me so let see. I live in Miami Nova its kind of far from me, but i get its worth it. Have u heard anything about the essay?

yeah nova is far from me too. I live in boca so it would take around 45min-1hr depending on traffic and if i was speeding. I feel your PAIN!!! I have only heard a few things about the essay we write at the interview. It could either be a topic about a video you watch or the generic "why do you want to be a nurse". I know that does not help much...but *shrugs*. What time is your interview 2morrow? and if i don't respond tonight its cuz my internet is acting up and will get back to you 2morrow.

GOOD LUCK!!!
