I had my interview today! and honestly I was soooooo nervous that I dont even know how it went, I was there and only 5 people were interviewed by Nova in the morning. They give you a tour on the facility, write an essay about "what rods signs have led where you are now", then they make you watch a video from the program director explaining how much it is, the lengh of the program, etc. and for last the let you wait until they call you for the actual interview. I was the last one to be interviewed so in the room where two people asking me so many stupid questions like how do you act under stressfull situations, what would you do if this, what successful things have you done so far in your life ( choose on ) sooooooo when you are on the spot... its soooooo hard cause they haver their eyes on you... sooo now for me its play the waiting game

Hey! Don't worry to much I'm sure you did fine! But yeah, reading ur response made me feel anxious and nervous myself hahaa. Who gave you the interview? I heard sometimes professors of the nursing program there are the ones that do it. *sighhh* . ... . . . . Oh yeah also what did you wear? very formal right? blah. I just hope i get a call soon for an interview *knocks on wood*.

But I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK and update me on anything or when they get back to you!

I submitted my application last month for the January 2010 program. The girl at the front desk in admissions said it would take about 4 wks to find out whether or not I got the interview ... we'll see =/ I curretly have a 3.4 and I'm taking my last pre-reqs at MDC this semester. If all goes well I should have a 3.6 by the end. This essay you write at the interview pretty much sounds like the essay portion of the application ??

Hey Mayteb. My interview is on Tuesday this upcoming week. I am excited but nervous at the same time. I wanted to ask you how long is the personal interview? Approximately how many questions do they ask you?

When did you submit your paperwork and how long before you heard from them on your interview? Also, did they call you or did they send you a letter in the mail? I hate waiting - lol

Well for me was complicated. I applied for August 09 but since I summited everything on the deadline I had to re-apply for Jan 2010. The deadline was Oct 1st . They called me last week on Wednesday the 7th. So I guess its pretty fast. Maybe like a week or two the most. They give you a call and send an interview packet by email you have to print and bring it with you to the interview.

So you applied for aug 09 but missed the deadline - is that what happened? Mine was a last minute decision so I personally dropped off all of my paperwork on oct 1. They did cash my application fee so at least I know they are reviewing it. I called the admissions couselor today and left him a voicemail regariding my status. Lets see what happens .. Good luck on your interview by the way, let me know how it goes! Have you read the threads from students who went through the interview process? There's a lot of useful information!

I hope everyone did well on their interview. I have mine on Friday November 6, 2009. Does anyone remember any questions? or their essay? Also, did any receive an acceptance letter?
