To answer Laura

Well I just took my NCLEX PN today and it shut off right at 85 so I think I passed it. (I can say that with some certainty because so far every person in my program has passed and most shut off at 85)

I am working right now as an ED tech in south county and love my job. I think my hospital would hire me as an LVN when I get my license.

My program was the LVN program in Santee at Grossmont Health Occupations Center.

Oh wow I guess everyone's heard about them now! I've noticed that Sharp no longer has the BSN program link on their home page. It's a good idea to always have that plan B ready to implement

I am not sure if they told her why, if they did, she did not share that info with me. She was my classmate at National in all the prereqs. But to me she seemed very qualified. She is a Sharp employee, 3.0 cumulative gpa, scrub tech (operating room) and very charismatic.

I know. this is scary. A person does all that hard work to get in and for nothing?!? Well maybe those pre-reqs are the same as for other schools around?

I know NU has an extra class that you must take just for going to NU but it is not transferable to any other school. But they recommend that you take it once you know you are accepted.

Which class? ILR 260? The community colleges in San Diego have a similar class. Its just a class that teaches you how to use Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. At NU tho they added research report writing to it.
