    Hey all I am taking Microbiology and A&P 2 for the spring of 2013. I wanted to open this thread to people who may be possibly taking 1 or both of these classes as a way to help each other out or give feed back. I am applying to our schools nursing program in May and these are my 2 last pre req classes

    Yes good luck to you!! I will be taking ap 2 and micro in spring also and will be applying to the bsn program for the fall.

    Microbiology for me as well... I went with a few "easier" classes with it though, developmental psych and medical terminology. I plan on getting the A&P's done over the summer. Already ordered the Microbiology Simplified in my Kindle... planning to start reading that over the holidays to get an idea what I'm up against.

    Registered for micro in the Spring as well. I took my chem lab final yesterday, and still have the lecture final on Monday. I need to pass this class to go on. I have a two other classes to take, then I'll start applying at the local schools.

    I would advise not taking Microbiology and A&P2 together if you can. Microbiology is very detailed. Microbiology tends to be more comprehension. I took A&P 1 and 2 this past summer and made A's in both. You will be busy towards the end with the unknown project (where you have to find out what your organism is).

    I am taking A&P II and Microbiology in the Spring also, and I am very excited. This will be my final semester before applying to my school's nursing program in May. I am so excited!! I feel like I am on the home stretch because fulfilling all of the nursing pre-req's has been my goal for so long it seems.
    I love biology and I have my favorite instructor for Micro. I can't wait to get started!

    (I just have to get through my A&P I final this week, ahh )

    I'll be taking both this spring. These are repeats for me because my credits are from over 10 years ago but hopefully some of it will come back.

    I'd like to start prepping this next month. Any suggestions on what to do besides making sure my house is in order and I'm all organized?

    I'm also taking Human Growth and Development. And working full-time. I'm a glutton.

    Update, passed dreaded chem with a B, and an A in. English 101! Onto micro for Spring. I'm already reading last semesters power point notes to get a head start. Wish new luck.
