the cutoff is apparently a 3.8 again- thanks olofin- so anyone with below that, including myself, should give up hope for the spring. if anyone can please call the advisers and confirm that and perhaps I will too....

LOL, well, I guess that's $25 down the drain ... do you know if that was the cut-off for both Generic & Accelerated?

Vampiresfluff,

You should definitely not give up hope yet. Even if that is true, many people who apply to MDC have also applied to others schools they may prefer and hope to get into. If they don't want their spot it could be given to you since your GPA is so very close to the supposed cut off. Don't give up yet!!!!

Who told u that was the cut off for this semester... It seems to early in the month to be a accurate number...

Yeah, where is this information coming from?? Who told you that the cut off was 3.8 again. I called last week and they said they haven't made selections yet. I think I need to go down to the school. How do they give out information to some people and not others?

no nothing yet but if its like last time they probably havent even looked at the applications... am not that stressed this secound time it's like if it happens great...

Everyone!! Check your MDC email accounts!! They're sending scholarship invitations for the Nursing Program. I just got one!! I was also told that they will be sending letters in the middle of this month!! Good luck everyone!!
