Looking for a nursing school without teas or hesi

  1. Hello Student or Nurses, i am looking for a nursing school in either Georgia state, Alabama or South Carolina or North carolina or Florida. I already have a bachelor's in Economics&Psychology In a foreign country and am looking for a BSN Programe without Hesi or Teas. Regardless if there is no one I would give it a try. I don't like too wait long for an acceptance either.

You are looking for a unicorn. The overwhelming majority of schools require an entrance exam, and you will need to take the prerequisite sciences before getting considered for admission.

Wow. Not asking for much, are you? No entrance exams, quick acceptance ...

Be wary of such programs, OP. *If* they exist, they will cost you.

Hope you have a lot of cash (or ability to obtain it) to spend on for-profit nursing schools that may or may not offer you a good education. That is probably your only chance at finding a nursing school that both doesn't have an entrance exam and will give you a fast acceptance, (not to mention pre-requisites). Good luck to you.

Thankyou. I did not mention in my last post I already have concluded all my prerequisites with straight B's and few As in Georgia .With my foreign Bsc in Economics Psychology. I do not intend wasting anytime into the Nursing Program.

many programs require a 3.75 or higher on the prerequisite GPA so you straight B's and a few A's may not be enough to get you in. Those without entrance exam probably have even higher GPA requirements.... just something to think about

No one WANTS to waste time in being admitted. It's just the way it is in most areas. As has been said, your grade point average may be an issue.

I recently graduated from USF and they do not require the TEAS, however, there interview process is stringent.

Not sure about some of the Universities around here, but the community college I currently attend does not require the TEAS. In fact, they stopped taking that about 4 or 5 years ago and now have an overall point system. The majority of the points accumulated are from taking the ACT test.

The only school I can think of is in Tennessee, Lee University does not require any entrance exams, just your ACT score.
