Hi everyone--I am taking anatomy and phisiology I and it has been rough to say the least. I am maintaing a A/B average between lab and lecture, but we have now moved onto muscles and my brain is spinning. I am stressed to the max! I feel like I am worn out from this semester, we only have 5 more weeks left and I just want it to end!

I think I just needed to vent--anyone else feeling run down from class..lol

I feel the same. I thought skeletal was hard then I was like omg muscles. Now the nervous system has me confused more. I have 4 weeks and I cant wait for this semester to be over. I have micro, college algebra and nutrition apart from A&P. Its been a tough semester.

I'm in A&P I as well and wow these muscles. I'll get through it I'm sure...but this and organic chemistry in one semester (along with the labs) has been tough! My poor husband and kids have forgotten what I look like I'm sure:wacky:

I'm a couple months from finishing APII. Check out Khan Academy to complement your reading and studies! Sometimes watching the related videos will give you a better big picture before you get down into the micro details.

The muscles were a nightmare in A&P 1. I'm not sure how the hell I earned a B in that class. A&P II is way more interesting but ugh I'm so stressed out anymore from school. I know exactly how you feel. Very run down especially since I got a 79 on my lecture exam. I feel really bummed out and wanted to cry. Get through these last five weeks, you can do it. Remember why you're in this and good luck! :)

I am the opposite, I loved A&P II and bones. A&P II and these veins and THE HEART, please...I'll take bones anyday over this. I miss A&P I.:(

As a light side note, I read the title of this thread and thought "and did you find them to be soft instead??" :)

I was anticipating a "my first code blue" story. ☺️

Friends, you will get through. I hope your summer is filled with plenty of brain decompression time. I just graduated last May and I vividly remember those "4 more weeks of this......" dreaded feelings. Every semester feels like that, unfortunately. As for A&P..... That class is a killer. Look for patterns in how things are named. That's the only real tiny saving grace. Once you get done, you won't need to know this stuff in such a deep level of detail.

Good luck!

Ugg I agree just took my Bones test today, amazed I passed, but now we have two weeks to memorize the muscles ack. 5 more weeks! Then a two week break and a summer session of A&P 2.

It only gets much harder from here, however its classes like these that prepare you for the volume of information when you get to pharm and med-surg (easily 2-3x more material).

Keep on truckin'!
