I am getting discouraged at school when I see we all the people majoring in Nursing...

I am currently attending UIW doing my pre reqs and I feel like I am getting discouraged when I see so many people applying for the bsn program.Last semester I was able to be lucky and have a 3.25 GPA but second semester started a few weeks ago and I feel like I'm doing ok in A&P and Chemistry but I am failing statistics right now.

Im scared if I drop it and the W will affect my application but I don't want to stay in the class and lower my GPA.As of right now I try to think positive and hope to graduate in four years and I hope to be accepted into the nursing program.But they're average to get in is at 3.4 GPA I am worried that I won't make it and I don't want to disappoint my family and I don't want them to think of me if a failure.

Is there other Nursing schools that automatically accept a GPA of 3.0?
