How many nursing schools did you apply to? Would you be willing to move if you could get into the right nursing school?

I havent done so yet but in the fall I plan to apply to a minimum of 14 schools...

Oh yes if I didnt get in on the first try I would seriously consider applying to out of state programs as well...

I applied at 1 school this year. But if I don't get in this year I am going to apply for 8 in-state, and at least 12 out-of-state.

I only applied to 1 for Fall 08 acceptance. I am still waiting to find out if I made it in or not.

If I don't get in there, then I will consider applying to other schools in-state and sacrafice driving out of my way if I get accepted.

Applied to my CC twice (only one school) learned my lesson and the 3rd time I applied to my CC i applied to 4 other schools.

I got into my CC! I got into another school, Im on a waiting list at another. Still waiting to hear from 2 more.

Did I mention I got into my CC?

To everyone thats going application crazy, its the best thing. So you can stop asking yourself "what if" ..What if -always- comes too late, at least you have some sort of control over destiny.

Good luck to everyone. Have faith, some of us arent ready for nursing, Ive come to realize that maybe Im -now- finally ready, maybe thats why I went from zero to hero.

I guess in retrospect, I was quite naiive when I applied to my school. It never occurred to me they might not accept me, and I didn't think it was a big deal when I got my acceptance letter. They just stuck my name at the end of a 2 1/2 year long wait list, and I waited. ::shrug::
