How did you go about getting your reference forms filled?

by mell260

Did you just print all the forms out. Then ask the person if they could fill out the forms for all the schools you're applying to, at once? Does that make the most sense?

I'm just afraid it's going to be rude if I ask if they can fill one out now, another in a couple months, etc.

Any tips?

I really just hate to have them fill out forms for all (10), yes 10, schools that I'm thinking of applying too. So now here I am trying to figure out which ones I stand the best shot at....

I tried to list very clearly in one email all the schools I wanted the recommender to give me and specific instructions on what to do. I also included the deadline so they know. Another good idea is to get more recommenders than u need so that each person has to do less work. Hope that helps and good luck!
