Hey PreReq-ers, how is Fall Semester going so far?

Finished nurse assisting skills with a 97%. Making 95% or better in A&P1, college algebra, and Psychology. I am 33 years old and should get accepted for fall if I keep up the 4.0! I got 99th percentile on the NLN entrance exam.

I am currently taking two pre-req classes, developmental psy and stats. I also work full-time, so just having the time to study has been the hard part, but I am doing good so far. However, I had a stats exam last week and it was really hard. I just want to get an A in developmental psy and hopefully a solid B in stats.

I'm currently taking A&P (combined 1 & 2 into one semester), chemistry (combination of general, bio, and organic), and pharmacology.

I'm getting A's in all of them! I just hope I can keep it up. I have a huge pharm midterm this week and we have to get 78% or we fail the class. There are 50 questions and they are worth 2 points each so we can only miss 11! It's making me soooo nervous!

Good luck on those tests! : ] When is everyone planning on applying to their nursing programs?

I've got a loonnnggg time before I apply. I'm hoping to apply to a school August of 2010 and get in for January 2011. Otherwise...well, I could potentially not get in until April or Fall of that year, if at all. Ick. I start the A&P sequence next quarter.

I've got about the same time frame. aug 2010 or jan 2011. I'm going to do everything from here on out in mini terms, work hard, and hope for the best. : ] I've already started studying for the chem class I'm taking next semester and for a & p. We should all stay in touch and cheer eachother on!

Hey, just wondering, anyone know how to calculate gpa?

google GPA calculator. It has helped me. I am taking A&P1. I am really enjoying the course but its tough. A lot of studying. I have to really work hard to keep my GPA up as high as I can. I am hoping to apply to one school after Spring semester ends depending on how I did.

well it's kinda looking like I'm going to have to apply to Bcc because I don't think my gpa will make the cut for Mdc's nursing program by the end of the spring term. By the time I do get it up there, it'll be too late to apply for jan 2011 so I'd basically sit out for a year and I don't want that. Even though Bcc is an hour away, to me it's worth it. So Bcc here I come! I'm planning on applying for entrance for Fall 2010. : ] By then my gpa should be at 3.6.

I'm taking 12 units right now; Developmental Psych, Introductory Chemistry, and Intermediate Algebra. I'm doing great in Math which is a total surprise! Psych is always a lot of fun and easy for me. As for Chemistry, as long as I keep studying really hard and going to my tutor, then I may just get a B lol

Halfway through, and have all A's, but I'm so sick of this routine. UGH, cannot wait until Winter Break so my brain can take a vacation.
