HELP! Bombed the HESI Entrance Test

Lady Vol, WOW congratulations on your HESI score, that is amazing! I scored 81% on my first attempt and have decided to take it again. Any advice? I do have the HESI Evolve Reach Admission Assessment Exam Review, and feel that the math section was great preparation for the exam, although I had a lot of problems with reading comprehension. I feel the Exam Review book did not cover that section well, when doing the practice tests I got 100% but on the actual HESI exam I got a 78% in Reading Comp. Anyways, I'd appreciate any helpful advice? I really want to get in the 90%'s second time around. I have a month before my second attempt.

Any update? I'm curious to see how you did the 2nd time around. You're lucky that you have that option; my school only allows the HESI once per admission cycle. Good luck!!

I would recommend the HESI study guide. I used that one, and just got a 97 on my HESI. The math is easy but you can easily screw it up if you are not a math person and you don't memorize how to do all that stuff (that you never have to use in everyday life!) Just memorize all the math, and go over all the sections in the book and do the things they recommend in the HESI HINT sections and I think you will be fine. GOod Luck!! I spent about 15-20 hours total brushing up for the HESI. It is worth it!!

I got a copy of the HESI study guide from the school library. That's what I used to study from. I passed the 1st attempt. Good luck on your next test!

Has anyone had to take the physics part of the HESI and is it really as hard as it is in the study guide?

any feedback on the a&p section of the test? i've been trying to study a little everyday for it and i don't think its enough.

hey i just took the Hesi and now im freaked out if ill be accepted in the Gloucester county program.
I got a 80 over all 91 in the reading part..my high school grades in bio is 91 and chem 94 do i have a chance!?!
