Help! Advise on LPN or RN program without an entrance exam in IL, or IN

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello everyone, I am looking for a nursing program that does not require you to take an exam first to determine if you get in the program. Programs where the professors and teachers work with the students. Please give me your suggestions for the Chicago Illinois and Indiana area. Thanks

The college that my wife and I both attend which is Lorain County Community College in Ohio doesn't require any type of entrance exam what so ever for either the LPN or RN Program, the only requirement is you prereqts and that all...otherwise nothing else, my wife is already on the LPN waiting list for the fall of 2013 and this coming fall I will be done with my two remainder course (STNA & Bio:Body structure and function) and I'll be place on the same waiting list.

I attend Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana and the nursing program here does require the TEAS exam. Is there a reason your mom doesn't want to take an entrance exam? The TEAS isn't easy but there are a lot of study guide options that can help students become successful taking the exam. Either way, I hope what you're looking for!
