Which is harder: A&P 1 or A&P 2?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I am finished A&P 1 - that was a lot on itself. Is A&P 2 harder?

My second semester of pre-nursing consisted of: A&P II, microbiology, sociology, professional nursing, and world philosophies. A&P II was definitely more difficult, not only the material, but I had switched professors from A&P I. A&P II was also focused more upon the physiology of the body instead of where everything was located. I really never did have any problems with A&P because it has always been my favorite subject. I even have anatomy posters up on my wall :D

If you take a 3 credit, basic anatomy & physiology first, none of it would be hard. But everyone in Big Hurry. Lol.

Taking something for the first time, you were never exposed to will have added influence.

I thought A&P I was harder. As soon as I get used to the type of class and the type of course work, I was breezing through A&P II. I got an B in A&P 1 (summer 8 week course) and then I got an A in A&P II (16 week course).

It really depends on who you ask. I took A&P1 and 2 with the same instructor. What made part 2 easier in a sense was knowing what to expect regarding grades, labs, instructor's teaching style, etc. In my opinion, A&P2 as a class is a lot more interesting. I loved learning about the body systems. My favorites were the endocrine, reproductive and urinary systems. So, to answer your question: Yes, I think A&P2 is a bit harder but if you did well in A&P1, you should be fine.

I enjoyed A&P II way more than the first one. Maybe because I knew what to expect. It also seemed so relevant to nursing.
