Which is harder A&P 1 or 2

Taking a&p 1 right now and I'm doing pretty good, however there is a lot of information and I sometimes feel like it is 2 or 3 classes in one. For the people who have taken both 1 and 2, which did u find more difficult/time consuming. I take a&p 2 this summer which is about 8 weeks I believe.

I just started A&P I which is an 8 week format. So, I am curious what others say about A&P II as well.

Part two is harder, IMO. You dive in and don't come up for air, and if you skated through part one without truly learning the material, you'll get left behind. When our part two started, there was standing room only in class. We've lost about half since midterm drop period. Not to scare anyone, but forget about your seatbelt and just hope all of your airbags function properly! Lol

A&P 2 is harder which I've known to be MedSurg 2.. The systems got harder to me as I went further along.

Personally I liked 2 better. Not bones or muscles. But we did lose half our class by mid term too.

I thought A&P I was harder. It was all foreign language to me and I didn't know what the instructor was saying half the time. I didn't have any idea how to study for it. I went into II with a good idea of what to expect and the reading flowed a lot better. Plus, I starting getting a grasp of it and everything in "I" started to really click. Then, I couldn't get enough of it. I thought I could solve cancer....until I took patho.

Haha nice! I don't know what to expect taking it in the summer. It's my last prerequisite and I def want to get an A before I start my bsn program

I also liked A&P II better. IT was just a lot easier to understand how everything works, instead of nothing but memorization like in A&P I. Good luck! And study, study, study!!

AP 2 is certainly more work in terms of time spent on the class. A lot more conceptualization thus more digging in via reading, watching videos, drawing out maps, etc; That being said I do think it's more like nursing school as it's not strictly memorization. Good luck!
