- Aug 1, '11 by Glad2baRNDepends on program, but it can be very important. The one I'm in now states you must have at least a 3.0 GPA from previous degree and they mean it. I've heard of people who applied with a 2.9 and a 4.0 prerequisite and still got declined due to their previous degree GPA being a 2.9.
