    Hi everyone!

Someone told me today I should really think about a minor. This person said a minor would look better than a lot of random classes. I have all my generals and I'm just finishing my prerequisites for nursing. I will apply in the fall for spring 2013. I wanted to be a full time student for next semester, so I'm taking a few electives that don't count for anything, but I thought they would be fun and interesting. Is that bad? Was that person right, do I need a minor?

    Thank you!

  4. I'm not sure if I understand, do you mean major? I was a Biology major before I got into the nursing program, because they couldn't consider nursing until I got in
  5. Guide
No. Nursing is a full time major. Concentrate on that.
  6. You don't need a minor, a minor is just nice to have, for the reason the other person stated. Especially good if you are taking courses in a subject area that interests you. I enjoyed my minor classes more than my nursing classes. Taking them made the experience more tolerable.
