Having something negative on your record, such as being dismissed from a nursing program, will not look good to other nursing schools. Nursing schools want students who will complete their programs, graduate, and pass NCLEX. With so much competition to even gain admission to nursing school, schools have the upper hand in choosing who gets in and who doesn't.
If you are serious about becoming a nurse, there are other programs in the St. Louis area you can apply to. All the community colleges in St. Louis, plus SIUE, have nursing programs
. Apply to all of them. Once you've exhausted all of your options, you'll either be back in nursing school or you'll be finished with your MA program. Plus you are still employed with Glennon - doesn't sound at all like you weren't meant to be in the healthcare industry. You just may not end up where you thought you would.
Keep your head up, and I wish you all the best.
