Denver College of Nursing - October 2018 Start

Hi! I just submitted my application for DCN October 2018 start. Haven't seen a forum on it yet and thought I would start one.

I'm from Brazil, but I've lived in CA for the past 9 years. Have a Bachelors in Environmental Science (3.1 GPA), have 3.5 prerequisite GPA (although 2 courses are still in progress), volunteer at Stanford Children's Hospital and at a local hospice.

I'm really hoping to get in! Now it's nail-biting anxiety waiting time, they said I should hear back by May 14th and it seems like forever.

Who else is applying? What is your background?

Also, I would really appreciate any insight from anyone that attends or applied to DCN previously! :)
