Darton College and TEAS V May 2014

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi,

I took my first TEAS V test today at Darton and though I was labeled "Proficient" I totally bombed it with an Adjusted Individual Total Score of 59.3%! I am really dismayed at this because I studied and studied. The science portion was extremely difficult and my score showed at 37.5%. I hardly recognized any questions from the study guide. It was my last section, and I was completed drained after completing it. Math wasn't much better with 50%. Reading was 81% and ELU was 70%. My GPA is 3.04 and I'm currently taking AP2 this summer. I was so hoping to get into the Cordele track, which only accepts students in the Fall. I could just cry. What are my chances????

Just wanted to update that I made it into the program! I am super excited and a little scared at the time same time! I prayed God's will and so I'm walking through the door He has opened!!

Hi LilyBugNme

You really brighten my day when I read your thread. I scored a 62% on the TEAS and I'm now awaiting an acceptance letter. Hopefully I get in and won't have to retake it. How are you doing in the program?

Hi guys, I am applying for the evening program for nursing at DARTON at the end of this semester... I want to get in on my first try since they only open up applications every even year for the evening program.. I have 70% on my TEAS and 3.5 gpa after two B's in my AP classes.. all other classes are A's~ and after this semester my GPA will be a bit higher.. .I'll finish all core classes before nursing would start~~~ I am just wondering if I should take the TEAS again to increase my chances.. I would hate to have to study it again, because it's so much info and it's a hard test for the most part.. thoughts?? :) thanks!
