Re: CSUN Accelerated B.S.N. Fall 2009 Applicants
CSUN is definitely one of my top choices. I think they have a great program and the fact that only 18 are selected means that it is a cohesive and small student to teacher ratio, which is wonderful. I am also considering Loma Linda University, although it is expensive, my mom lives there and I could move home for a year and save on rent, utilities and food...which would bring the estimated cost down by about $12,000. If I do choose to go to CSUN, I am going to have to find a place to live since I live too far to commute as of now.
I defintely have the same goals as far as furthering my education, but as for now I am focused on doing the BSN program first. Then gain experience in the nursing field to then decide where I would like to practice as far as a NP.
Looks like we're both off to a good start.
