I just got in to the program and have my first Summer off in a few years, since I started this process with pre reqs! I start the ADN program August 26. Graduating May 2015. Thankful I just kept taking courses through two rejection letters because now I only have to take the core NUR courses!!!!

My school only has fifteen slots for about 125 applicants. No wait lists, have to reapply each year. I got in my third try, just kept plucking away at the courses that some nursing students don't take until they are in the program.

I'm a hopeful summer 2016 graduate from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. I'm finishing up my pre-reqs now and hope to start the program Spring 2014.

I need to take the TEAS in October. Trying to start studying for it now. Hopefully after recital crazy week is over. I'm a single Mom and my daughter's dance recital is this weekend.

Summer semester starts Monday, so hopefully I can fit in TEAS studying around the classes I'm taking this summer too.
Hey I'm over at DeSales! I looked into Cedar Crest but DeSales was more affordable. So we're on the same schedule... Maybe we could study sometime? How old is your little one?

So I'm taking an A&PI class through Bucks County Community College ( my school will accept this) and its totally online with a virtual lab. Has anyone ever done a virtual lab? I'm very interested to see how this will come into play.

I am (hopefully) starting the program at my community college in the spring of 2014 and will graduate spring 2016. Doing developmental psych and pharmacology over the summer now. And health math in the fall just as something to do to keep me fresh and not get to big of a break.
I'm on the same boat as you! Got rejected to the only private BSN program I applied too. So I have to apply Sept-Oct for local ADN programs to start in the Spring of 2014... Re taking Dev Psych, and taking nursing prep courses to keep my mind running still : ) Good luck!!

My daughter is 4.5 and my son is 2.5.

I never had a virtual lab? That sounds interesting... I have seen it mentioned in some of the distance grad school programs I've been looking into.

I have a 6 year old and an 18mo.... Boys, lol. I really would like to do direct entry for Georgetown's midwifery program. It's offered almost completely online, aside from clinical and 4 weekends at the school. They also have virtual labs, so maybe this will be a test run.
