I would only do one class at a time, that's for sure. I have three young children and work full time -even with a husbands help it is not easy. Kids come first. If you have problems with child care that needs to be #1 priority. So if your classes are daylight, when are you going to work, in the evening? & When will you see the children? & Study?
I'm not trying to be negative, I'm just aware of how difficult it can be. Take it SLOW. I would not try to take a a full time class schedule, work and still do all the mom stuff. Are you kids in pre school, or sports, dance, play dates etc.? All that mom stuff is time consuming. All that nursing stuff is time consuming too. See if you can do one class at a time.

Man , i have tried all of that. What my problem is , is that i dont have and cant afford a car and live in a state where pubic transportation is limited. I live in WV and out here , public transportation wont even get me to where all the good jobs are. I mean its really rediculous out here.

It sounds like you have a difficult situation, but I know that if you really want this you can find a way to make it work. I can't give you more advice than some of these great ladies already have.

I called the nursing program admissions office today at our local cc to get the admissions requirements for nursing school. They will call me back with the information. I really want to know what to expect. I'm just starting school in January after being out for 11 years and it's difficult, but I really want this.

I'm reading up on nursing now and my MIL was a LPN for many, many years before her health made her give it up. She loved it!!!

Just take it one class and one problem at a time and you'll get there.
