    Hi guys,

    I'm trying to apply to ABSN programs in California. Would being a CNA or caregiver help in the admissions process (on your resume)? I graduated UCLA with a bachelor's in biology, but my GPA was quite mediocre (2.8). Do nursing schools take the school I went to into consideration? Also, what can I do to become a more competitive applicant?

    Working in healthcare will help you both on your application and in your knowledge base.

    Take prerequisite classes and ace them is the
    best way to take attention away from a low GPA.
