I have an unusual question. I am applying for an ADN program and I'm not sure how to address my academic background.
I have a Bachelor's degree, and my undergraduate GPA was high. However, I attempted grad school (a physical therapy doctorate program), and was academically dismissed. I didn't have a physics background at all and received a few C's in biomechanics-related classes. The program dismisses students for grades below a B. I did do well in most classes, and my pathophysiology/ pharmacology professor is writing me a recommendation.
How do I address this on my ADN application? Do I even need to address graduate coursework? I am really worried that this will look like a scarlet-letter. I am committed to a career in health care and I think I would make a very good nurse. Any advice would be appreciated!
