Anyone waiting for admission Spring 2010?

Hello, everyone Iam going to apply for the lpn at lawsonstate for spring and rn at jeffstate and wallace state for spring 2010. I have been done with my pre-nursing classes since dec2008 but took a&p 1 over but didnt take the lab so i got to take the lab over so that the course will be worth 4hrs instead of 3 but iam done just got to correct that and i hope i get in lol good luck to everyone appling rfor lpn or rn

I've hopefully only got a few more days before I can officially apply for spring '10. I just finished up my CNA course today, and take the state test on Tuesday. If I pass, I will have all my pre-reqs done and can apply!!! I won't find out until mid-October though if I got accepted or not!

I'm applying for Spring '10, too. I don't apply until September, though.

I applied for a Spring 2010 ADN program but doubt I'll be accepted. They give preference to people who have already completed the pre-req and they say that classes taken during the Fall don't count. But I went ahead and applied anyway and added a cover letter/essay, even though it wasn't part of the application process. I have a B.A. and I taught high school biology (for a very short time - dealing with 150 teenagers every day is NOT my idea of fun). I have a 3.47 GPA in my sciences and I've got 40 semester hours of science (biology and chemistry). So I'm hoping they will take all that into consideration even if I haven't taken A&P yet. I got clearance from the prof to take A&P I & II concurrently this Fall so I'll knock those out in one swell foop!

Im waiting on my acceptance letter as well...(crossing my fingers)....
Does your program suggest that you complete the various health screenings, background checks, etc while waiting for your acceptance letter too?

I don't know about others, but mine has been silent about it. I'm sure they'd rather stay silent than suggest putting out money on health screening and a background check in case you're not accepted. I can just imagine the uproar.

I just found out today for sure that I was passed over for Fall, but they are accepting rollover applications for Spring.

I'm also applying to school for 2010 Spring semester. I should find out in the next 2 weeks if I got in! I'm so excited and really nervous!
