Don't worry you will get into a school soon!!!
Thanks for the encouragement everyone I took it pretty hard at first, but things are better now. I actually got a call this afternoon from one of the other schools I applied for to come in next week for an interview. I called my mom to give her the news (she works for a nursing school, too) and she says this is a good thing, since the school I'm interviewing at doesn't normally conduct interviews. The fact that they want to talk to me in person means they're seriously considering me, but my application may be borderline (in my case, I have strong TEAS scores (93% composite), but lowish GPA (3.1, which is just barely above minimum)) and they need the personal interview to give them the rest of the picture they need to make a decision. If I come across well in the interview, I stand a very good chance of getting in. I just wish I knew what to expect. In any case, I'll keep everyone updated. Wish me luck! And good luck to everyone still waiting.

To those that got rejections letter, please don't give up, I don't speak from experience, (still waiting on my letter) but I have been in so many situations in my life that perseverance paid off big time. Cry if you need to but hold your head high and try next time. Hugs to everyone, keep applying to RN programs and you will get your acceptance letter.

I'm sorry about that. Just keep applying you'll get in. Maybe we can all list the info about our schools.

Where did you all apply? How many times? What GPA?What TEAS or other tests? Those kinds of things maybe?

I'm waiting on 6 schools in Orange County: Saddleback, Golden West, Long beach City, Rio Hondo, Citrus, and Cerritos. All ADN programs. My pre-req GPA is 4.0 and my TEAS was 70%. Overall GpA 3.43... I'm 25 and going to go ADN--->BSN--->Nurse Anesthetist (I hope). 5 of the 6 schools are merit/GPA based and one is a lottery. I might know about one this month, the rest not until May.
Wow. I hope you make it into one of those.

I only applied to one. Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Ks.
It's my first time applying. I have a 4.0, am in the Honors Program and had to take the ACT, not the TEAS, I got a 29 overall, which is pretty decent.
This school takes your GPA and test score and picks the top 110. They then bring them in for interviews. Once everyone has their interviews, the interview counts for 40% of their score and the GPA and test scores count for 60%. They then take the top 64 people.

I made it in for the interview and am just waiting to hear. I know that with my grades and scores, I should be in the top 64, but I don't know if I hurt or helped myself with the interview.

Good luck, RonnieDita!!! I technically applied to 2 schools, but can really only get into one of them at this point. I applied to one ADN program at Our Lady of Lourdes / Camden County College in NJ, but then decided to apply to an accelerated BSN/MSN program at Jefferson in Philadelphia since I have a Bachelor's already. Once I applied to Jefferson and decided to pursue their prerequisites, I had to kiss Lourdes goodbye because they have different requirements. So all my eggs are in one basket now!

I have a 3.4 overall GPA and a 4.0 in my prerequisites. My TEAS score was an 86%, but Jefferson doesn't look at that. I have no idea when I'll get my final decision, but I hope it's soon because the wait is driving me crazy!

Any insight on what kind of HESI/GPA scores are accepted? I received an 88.4 on the HESI and a 3.62 GPA. Impatiently waiting on acceptance/rejection letter...
