hi vbnim1 and kr11,

i took it may 13 with lvn students who are trying to join the bridge program...there were i think 30-40 people in the room, im not quite sure cause i was busy being too anxious for the test ( i was in my own bubble).hehe.i was one of the last to finish the test....after they told me my score, the lady immediately gave me an acceptance letter and told me that im in for this upcoming fall..honestly, i dont know if its the same process for you guys taking it on the 8th, i hope so..... i know how hard and frustrating it can get to wait..been there.... (i applied a few times and was put on wait lists before i got invited for the teas exam.. so thats probably another factor as to why i got in for this fall besides passing the teas and just got lucky overall)..but i think being invited to take the test is a very very good sign that you guys are being considered for this fall (but pls keep in mind im not speaking for the school's behalf, just my opinion).. just study, study , and study.. and hope for the best... concentrate on ratio, percentage, reading charts/graphs.. um fractions... and know some stuff about earth science (rocks) and little about chem...just stay positive and hope to meet you guys this fall.. GOODLUCK!!! =) and CONGRATS TO BOTH OF YOU making it this far =)...

That happened to me last semester and they told me to call the impacted students desk. For some reason my rejection came late :-(

I actually got a call from them today, I guess when I RSVPed the lady never wrote my name down so they called to make sure I got the letter and am going on the 8th.

I would call them tomorrow.

Thanks so much! Congrats to you too! I'm so nervous for the test! Were you allowed to use a calculator? Was your score super high? My friend who is in the program said that as long as we pass the test we are in and that your letter would tell you if you were an alternate! I'm still not getting my hopes up until I have that acceptance letter in my hand! Thanks for all the info!

thanks for the congrats! =)..
..no calculator allowed on the test... the test is timed approx 3 1/2 hrs long, but you can take it on your own pace..where you can decide when to start the next subject...

goodluck again!! =D.

no unfortunately, im not an lvn.. im a "beginner"..no experience what so ever but volunteer... so im anticipating and excited of whats to come..(a little scared too..hehe)

teas is ged equivalent.. so the chem is mostly basic questions about elements...and they dont ask that much about it... the science portion.. i guess would be best described as "anything goes" type of questions.. they look at your math and reading heavily though.. so concentrate on doing well on those the most..

goodluck !!
