I turned in my application for nursing school
last October and i know it is not supposed to come until early March, but I am getting anxious, is anyone patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for acceptance (or rejection-god forbid)?

yeah, I am. When I spoke with the secretary in the nursing department, they said that we wouldn't find out until mid-march or early-april. The letter I expect will tell me when I would be starting, not if I'll be starting. It can be this fall or next spring. Last year they even had a pilot program in which they started in the summer and went straight around the calendar for four semesters. That might also be a possibility. I've finished all of my prereqs with a high GPA, so I've little doubt about my acceptance, I just wish I would get the letter instead of having to wait to "start" my life.
I wasn't worried until I went to the information session for my school. Their first group started this very January and will go straight through for 15 months until RN graduation then start the graduate portion.
Because of my work experience and my gre numbers and my pre-reqs being complete at a high gpa I thought that I might have this in the bag. Turns out that there are almost 300 people applying for only 40 slots. Phewie.
The early application deadline was March first but that has been changed to the final, (glad that I went to the information session to find out) and we know the timeline for call backs is mid April and the final decisions should be May 15th.
Well, at least it is a quick timeline!
Good luck to all of us~
