Any Volunteers Out There???

So I just went through a long application process to become a volunteer at Methodist Hospital in Dallas. Since I'm a CNA I figured after 6 months or so I might apply for a position there. I also thought it would look good on my resume, and good when I apply to nursing school.

Has anyone else volunteered with a hospital? Why did you choose to volunteer? Did you get what you wanted out of volunteering?

And if anyone just wants to talk about their experiences from volunteering thats cool too!
