I was prepared for the test. When I took it i felt like on a scale 1-10 it would be a 6, reason being you don't have enough time...

my overall composite score was 92%
98 on the math and 86 on the english.

I only upped my overall composite by 1 point on my second testing. Fortunately-- my school takes the highest composite on each of the main 3 subjects-- Reading Comp, Math, and Written Expression, if you turn in the results from each time you take the test. My reading comp went up by nearly 10 points, and the others went down a few. Overall-- I upped my overall composite by only 2 points, but it gave me a small boost on the points system my school uses to determine acceptance.

I found the math to be a 1-2 and I found the reading section to be around 5-6. I found the reading kind of tricky, even after reading the questions and answers repeatedly on one of the practice tests...there were still a couple that I completely did not understand.

I found the math completely basic (fractions, etc) but I have an engineering background (with two years of college calculus and partial differential equations) - so it was a breeze compared to that

how many times can you take it and how soon can you take it? Does it have to be in a certain time frame.. like after you finish pre reqs or can you take it anytime?

Just curious as I am taking the NET this Friday about whether or not there are any geometry questions on the math section of the test. I have been working the practice tests but there seems to be a lack of geometry questions although I have read that there are geometry questions on the NET. I need to dig that part of my brain out of storage if there are geometry questions on the test. Seriously, there are many, many cobwebs in that part of my brain as I have not accessed or used geometry since the 10th grade! My 10th grade math teacher said we'd use it the rest of our lives...hmmmph! Any info would be appreciated, Thanks!

WEll. i do not think that there is geometry on the
NET at least on the version that I took...

I dont think that there is though, because on the ERI study guide there is no geometry... they are the "makers" of the test...

Thanks Csantos! I have been doing my practice tests for 10 days now and I take the NET Friday. I feel good but yesterday when I read that there may be geometry on the test I got a little weak in the knees!
