2 go to www.testprepreview.com and download and print their NET nurse entrance test, youll find it on the left hand side. then once you have it, you print it about 10 copies and staple 10 sets, they will be your everyday practice sets. now that you have done that, you will go to http://www.midland.edu/~hsd/pdf/8-NET_Test.pdf and do the exact same thing, make 10 copies and staple the sets, this is another GREAT EXCELENT exam and both of them are lets say 99% of what you need to know to score at least a 85 on your net and I GUARANTEE IT!.

3your studying schedule, first of all you are going to take the first test either one you choose, and you will solve it, take your time, try to understand, come online and post (lets ask for a sticky on this only for the net thread Huh? please all nurses!!!) well you will answer all the questions you can, and do not check yet to verify your answers, once you finish all the questions you know, you will then verify those answers, then whatever you could not solve, just come here and post the number of the questions and whether it is from plato or test prep, that i will step by step answer it and assist you.
you will then get the next NET and solve it also...and again, once you have doubts post them here and i will help you.
After doing that for 5 days, you on the weekend will go to discovery.com or any other science website and you will read about 3-5 articles, just so you can update, improve, sharpen your infra-reading skills, do dot skip this step, do that on the weekend so you can take a break on your studies and prepare for the second week.
On your second week you will start timing your self, you will give your self 1 minute per question, so total it like 60 minutes for 60 math questions! and time your self on the english part also, wich actually is the most time consuming questions.
__________________________________________________ ___________

try solving the problems, and if you cant you can PM me the problem so i can do a step by step explanation of it for you and e-mail it, so you can understend it.

If you don't know at all i will try teaching you the "how to's"

it is not hard, as long as you follow my "6 steps" you will be able within 2 weeks or so to be more then ready!
I went to both sites, but could only access the first one. When I went to the 2nd one, a message came up that the info requested is no longer available. Thanks for all of your help!

Okay, I new to the site - but I can totally relate to everyone on the site especially you. I have already take the test twice and very disappointed. The first time my scores were way better then the scores I took a week again. I got my scores yesterday and compared the two, to find that my reading comprehension scores didn't improve dispite my studies. I guess I didn't study long enough. As a matter of fact, my reading comprehension scores were the exact same as the last time I took the test in January.

I'm a math wiz; doing worse the second time around angered me and if you purchased the NET test study guide book for ERI some of the exact quizes to test A are in the back of the book. My the school deadline for the test is fast approaching and I just found out that I can't take the test immediately after taking it if you don't like your scores. I have to wait 30 days before I can take the test again. I'm going to call ERI in the morning and try my best to get rescheduled for the coming weekend. If I still don't do well on the reading part of the test "TO HECK with the NURSING program". I have a degree and don't have to put up with the headache. I wanted to do something more rewarding and a new field, but I'm doing pretty well in the field that I have my first degree so...........whatever!!!!

I wish you the best and thank you for letting me vent.

are the math questions on the net test multiple choice or do you have to write out the answer? I take the net in 2 days and have been wondering about that. Thanks, Amber

Chill down, take it easy "Happy cinco de mayo for you!!!"

things will be ok wait and see! what was your composite score at the first time?

all you need is a solid 85... that is a secure score! (based on many schools) at my school only 3 people scored above 90

on a scale from 1-10 1 being the easiest, 10 the hardest, how hard, or easy was the net test for everyone? I take my test Wednesday morning and just wondering how hard it is going to be. If I remember correctly the papers I got said I only have to make a score of 41 on math and about 50 on reading. Surely this can not mean I only have to get half of the answers right?? Can someone please explain the scoring to me. Thanks Amber

I don't wanna scare anyone and I hope I haven't scared you. The NET on a scale of 1-10 isn't very hard. I and a few other people just keep getting trumped on the reading comprehension part. As an overall I found the test to not be difficult at all and if those are the scores you need to ascertain, then you should be good.

On the first test my total test composite score was 68% and my reading comp composite score was 52%. The schools that I'm trying for in Georgia are looking at both scores; reading comp and total test. That is the only reason I keep trying to retake the test.

With me getting the exact same reading comp score on both test, is what is disturbing me greatly. I have a since of failure and defeat. This test isn't something that I think I can't do, but it is getting to me emotionally.

Thanks for you encouraging words.......I just need to figure out a trick or something to pass.
