I finally got my acceptance letter for the OCCC nursing program! I have been working hard on my prereqs for over two years so I had to share! I also want to wish all others who have applied to nursing programs good luck. It's hard work, even just getting accepted (as you all know!) and I know it will only get harder but I'm on my way! I plan to be spending a lot more time on here getting to know everyone and looking for advice so TIA.

Thanks lorobinson and mscott! I've been telling everyone I know but no one except my husband understands what an accomplishment it is. I knew those on this forum would understand what it's like. I'm so excited but also nervous.

Awesome! I was hoping to find someone on here that was going into nursing at OCCC in the spring. Looking forward to the orientation and meeting you and the others as well!

If you look under the region tab, there is an OCCC Hopefuls thread and a few more of our classmates.

It might be fun for us to get together and have coffee one night before the orientation. I go to Wholly Grounds sometimes to study.
