Ok, I plan on taking A&p1 this coming symmer; is a 5 weeks class of every single day, Monday- friday. For those of you who've taking this class, do you all think is a good idea to do this in a very short period of time? I know the class requires a lot of memorization; can the info be grasp in such a time frame? Thanks good people for your input! :-)

Our school offers an A&P summer class. Mind you, this class is NOT the required pre-req for our nursing program, but is an awesome warm up for the required anatomy and physiology (separate classes at my school). That being said, I took it over summer and it was a VERY grueling and intense 6 weeks. I studied everyday. I had to also clock 12+ hours per week in the lab. I have 2 kids, and managed to make it work by taking breaks from studying for my sanity.
I am now in my required Anatomy course, and SO grateful I took the warm-up over summer! Good luck to you. If you are able to be truly dedicated (hard work), go for it. Also, if this class is the actual required course for you program, take it over a semester as opposed to rushing through summer.
