A&P or Human Bio

What is the difference between human bio 1 and 2 and Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2. To get into my nursing program i need to take human bio 1 and 2 or a&p 1 and 2. I read on here about everyone taking A&P so i was wondering if anyone know the difference and what on is a little less harder.

you should read the class descriptions. At my school, human bio is bio 100 while anatomy is bio 328 and physiology is bio 610/611.

human bio is 231 233 and a&p is 232 and 234. Does what number it is mean anything?

Yes it does. classes in the 100's are intro. So bio 100 is the first bio class you can take and it is a pre req to bio 328 which is a pre req to bio 610/611. This is how it is at my school. It looks like at yours, though they are about equal to one another.

At our school Human bio is a step before A&P. It is geared to those that have not had a biology/a&p course or it has been some time since they have. Our school does not require human bio. However, at our school if it has been more than the 5 years since you have taken biology/a&p/chem you need to take a bio and a chem before you can take A&P. Many people elect to take the human bio over general bio to satisfy the requirement.

They can be the same thing.

The summer course I'm taking is BIO 132 - Human Bio II, and it's the equivalent of my school's BIO 202 - A&P II and another community college's BIO 132 - Human A&P II.

Could be the same in your school. For my school, A & P is different than Human Body. Human Body is a great overview of the body systems and is for criminal justice majors and such. A & P is for massage therapy and nursing students. :)
