count me in for a&p ii. part one i got a b in that class although it should have been an a since my lecture average was a 98 my lab average was a 77 so it kind of averaged out. i start class tomorrow tuesday 9th. i have already printed my lecture notes from my proff. i have also started looking at the powerpoint that the teacher has posted for us. i am so excited and i will try my hardest to get an a in this class to start the program by fall 07. we will start out with the blood chapter. i have all my resources handy and ready to go. good luck to you all this semester

Call me crazy, but I am taking A&P I and II together this semester. I took them separately 9 years ago for my undergrad, but need to have taken them in the past 5yrs for a school that I am applying to that starts in May. I just finished taking gen chem along with organic chem; now that was fun.

Any suggestions as to what I should start reading up on? I don't start until next week, so I have some time to do a little reading.

I'd search your school's website for a syllabus for each class. Even if it's not the same professor, it will give you an idea of what you might want to start reading.

    Best of luck!!!

I started last night...I LOVE the teacher. Very fast paced and interesting! He made the hour class seem like 15 minutes. I am now looking forward to this semester.

    Did any of you skip chapters between A &P 1 and A & P 2?
We ended on chapter 12 CNS last semester and are starting with chapter 16 the Endocrine System with a different teacher this semester...same book. So we skipped PNS, and special senses....we were apparently supposed to go through chapter 15 in A &P 1 and didn't get that far....

Cool, I'm taking A&P II and Developmental Psych (online) also! My classes don't begin until the end of January, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm also looking forward to everyone's comments.

Start memorizing the bones and muscles for AP1! That took up the majority of my study time! In my course, there really wasn't much help from the prof for these. I bought flash cards at Borders books to help.

You can count me in! I'm taking APII right now. I got a bit of a head start reading the chapter (Endocrine). My class is on Saturday afternoon (Yesterday). I was so glad I started reading it, as I felt very prepared.

We have a bit in common! I'm taking APII (Saturday class) and Developmental Psych (online). I'm also taking online Interpersonal Communication.

I have started reading...although I am not sure if I am reading ahead at this point. I waited too late to sign up for the Saturday A&P 2 class so I am in a M/W night class.
I hate that since I had become friends with so many of my classmates from the Saturday class last semester...my bad for waiting so late...money was tight early in the month.
At one point last semester our teacher has said we would go through chapter 15 and we only got to chapter 12 (CNS and PNS).
I am trying to read ahead and hoping that the M/W class will be at roughly the same place. I am actually excited to get back to class. I am also taking Developmental Psychology this semester as an internet course.

Call me crazy, but I am enrolled in A&P I and A&P II concurrently, all in the same semester. My next A&P II test is on the endocrine system and will take place next week.

I won't call you crazy but it does sound interesting, is it set up to take it together? or are you just choosing to do it that way? We are not allowed to do that at my school 1 is a pre req for 2.

I am taking micro along with ap2 I think thats as crazy atleast AP 1 and 2 are in the same "family". Goodluck.

At my school, it is highly recommended that students take A&P I prior to taking A&P II. However, it is not a mandated prerequisite.
