by dannygurl84 May 23, '12Right now I'm 28 and when I finish I will be 31. I just feel like I should of been started my career. I'm so tired of beating myself up. I started back in "04" but I just didn't finish. I'm doing really good and im more focused now since I'm older. Any advice out there?

May 23, '12 by CarryThatWeightNo way! Search allnurses and you will find lots of nurses that are in school in their 40's and 50's. In my ADN program I went to school with many nurses much older than you. I was 26 when I got my ADN, and just finished my BSN at 29. May 23, '12 by AnonRNC31 is NOT too old. I was a "mature" student in my ADN program - graduated when I was 29. In my BSN program in my early 40's. I was definately a better student at 29 than I was at 19. Also at 40, compared to 29. GO FOR IT!Bortaz, RN likes this. -
