    Hi! I've been following this thread for a while and will be applying for the scholarship NEXT year Congrats to the ones that won the scholarship! Maybe applicants with GPA of 3.8 or more had earlier responses, and they will give out more responses to applicants with GPAs lower in the next few days.

    Hi all!!

    I too received the congratulatory email today! I am beyond ecstatic! but timing was a bit off for me unfortunately because I have a trip planned from the 6th-12th and since I received it today, could not have the verification form filled out today, and so I might have to cancel my long-awaited trip...but of course i understand this is way more important right now..I just feel bad for my husband, this was supposed to be our week to enjoy time before school begins..I know we will both be so busy once I begin school on the 28th...I just wish I received the email yesterday!!!

    Just checked, yes there is an error when I try to log in. They're probably updating more statuses for the award.

    Oh, I forgot in my last post to share my stats:

    GPA 3.92
    nursing GPA 4.0
    accelerated BSN
    from Texas, but attending school in NY

    I am sooo nervous/ anxious/ hopeful for my 'finalist' status to become official recipient once the paperwork is in. Good luck to everybody- it will be a long weekend!!

    I got to school in MO and I didn't get an email... It's looking to not be in the cards for me because of my GPA. I will hold out hope though until 8/31.

    I am in Maine, going to University of Southern Maine.
    direct entry psych NP track
    Undergrad GPA 3.28
    EFC=0

    I was previously a Peace Corps volunteer and I think that helped as well.

    I wonder if how long you have left in the program weighs into their decision. I'm in my last year/semester, and I think that may have played a role in receiving the scholarship.
