well, it's about time to start this thread, i think!! let's get our bearings and see who all is in the same boat in january!

i finish up the first half of a&p with a comprehensive exam on december 13th and then it's right into the physiology portion of the course. we actually are starting special senses this week and next but will only get the first chapter done.

so .... who else is in? when did you take a&p i and how is your course set up? do you have the prof you want and are you looking forward to it?

i will include the sites from the a&p i thread that might be helpful! i will add/subtract as i get a chance to look through them a bit more or if anyone else suggests some good sites.

I am taking A&P II in Jan. However i did not pass part one lots of students are going to part II anyway because the proff. that teaches it is much better she acutally gives us a sample test to study from as well as a study guide. The teacher from part I does not give anything just lecture. I will retake part I in the Summer. My winter schedule is as follows....

I'm here I start A&P II around Jan. 9th. yeppy! not lol I made an A in A&P I but it was such an easy class. My profess. was a push over.

Dont worry if you did not pass A&P I When I first took A&P I the professor I had was terrible and the other students thought so too, so after 1 week I dropped his class and took A&P I with another professor who is one of the best A&P intructors on campus, I finished his class May 1, 2005 with an A and will take his A&P II class this spring.

My school has a pre. registration period..but then about a week b4 classes start they purge the rolls..making sure that all the pre reqs and requirements are met..you should call your school and make sure you won't get bumped at the last min... then have to scramble to find a class.

It's been 3 semesters for me since I took A&P 1 (not by choice...the A&P 2 class fills up FAST!!!) But since it's the only science I am taking, I'm hoping that I will do fine with it. I was going to take Micro in the same semester, but decided that it was too much taking both classes and working full time, since I want a good grade in the class, so I'm taking some online humanities classes to fill in the blanks. That way I only have to go to campus two days a week, and can work on the online classes whenever I want, have more time to study for A&P2, and actually sleep some when I'm not in school or at work!!!! What a concept! :zzzzz Right now, I'm just anxious for this semester to end, be done with chemistry, and have a month off to relax and clear my head for awhile!

I am registering for A&P II today. We aren't finished with A&P I for a couple more weeks, but I didn't think the class was too bad. The teacher got annoying sometimes since he kept going over and over things. It doesn't really help since I start daydreaming. Then he said he had to skip some material since we didn't have enough time . I'm going to read over what we skipped because I know I will need it in the future. I'm excited to take the second part since I found the first part so interesting. I am also taking Chem 201. People tell me that I will be too stressed out, but I know I can handle those two classes. I'm sure nursing school will be even harder. Good luck everyone!
