Unique question..

Hey everybody, I am currently finishing up my BSN and will graduate in April of 2013. I am interested in getting my MSN after I graduate, I am just not sure which specialty. My mom is a RN, and one of her friends is currently going back to get her FNP, and will be finished in 1 and 1/2 years. She said that a local hospital that has bought all the primary care offices in our area has been contacting her to sign a contract to work with them when she is finished, and they will pay for her tuition.

If FNP is something I decide I am interested in, would it be weird to contact the hospital now to just see if they would be willing to work with me, or even just get my name out there? I just don't know if it would be strange to contact them now since I still haven't finished my BSN.

Any thoughts/comments?
