    To all that have applied for a UAB NP program for Fall 2012, I received some news via email from one to the program directors. It turns out we will not be notified of acceptance or denial until the end of May! I thought the website said notification within 30 days of the deadline date. This is torture!! If anyone has any other info, please share.

    I received the same email! So the anxiety continues! Let me know if you hear anything more and I will do the same. Which specialty did you apply to? Do you know anyone who is in or has completed the program? Good Luck!

    I applied to the adult nurse practitioner program. I know several people in the various NP programs at UAB. They all love it. They say it's tough, but a good program. Have you applied to any other schools?

    I applied to UAB's WHNP/ANP, Vanderbilt's WHNP, Georgetown CNM/WHNP, and Emory WHNP/ANP. You??

    USA - ENP/DNP and ENP/MSN (Still waiting)
    University of Arizona FNP/DNP (I was accepted)

    My second choice at UAB was WHNP/ANP and third was ACNP

    I was accepted to DNP program at UAB and USA for fall 2012 entry, any advices/thoughts on which school I should go for? There seems to be a lot of posts about USA but not UAB. Thanks

    I'm jealous that you found out! I don't know anyone who went to USA, all I know is what I've read on allnurses. I know one person who is is the Peds NP program at UAB and she had positive things to say about the program and instructors.
    Did they notify you via email or mail?
    Has anyone heard about MSN decisions??

    I also applied to the FNP program at UAB! Still letter or email yet, do you live in Alabama? Did you also get accepted full time or part time?

    Hi,
    I live in Seattle, WA. Both schools notified me early last week via mail. I think I will have to do part time as I have to work full time at my NP job. Best wishes!
