    I'm looking at online N.P. programs, because of my work schedule and unfortunatly I have to do full time financially.

    I'm just curious, does anyone have thoughts on online programs? Do you feel they turn out equally qualified nurse practicioners?

    Specifically I'm looking at Troy University.

    I started a traditional NP program and switch to Nursing Education because of fear of having to go part time once I start clinicals. Now I am having second thoughts about the NE program and no sure what I am going to do with, so now I want to try an online NP program. There is one offered through University of southern Indiana with very affordable tuition, less than $300 dollars per Credit Hour. I am not sure how difficult it is to get in the program but you can do clinicals from anywhere and I am not sure if there is any oncampus requirement for skills check off, but if you go to their website you can get more f information.

    I was accepted in the USI Spring 2013 Class, I cannot wait to start. You cannot beat the price of tuition.

    I am a USI graduate - finished the FNP program this past July and I highly recommend this school. It is a hard program and it is imperative you do the readings and keep up with the assignments. I worked full time and traveled but was able to successfully complete the program. Out of 42 graduates in my class I know of only one person who didn't pass certification. The first time through and she did the next time she took it. The national average ranges from 80-84% first time pass rate.
